			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Some might think promoting a dental practice is different in a big city compared to a small or medium sized city.</p>
<p>They&#8217;re right. Sort of.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s what I mean: Competition is far more fierce. Not just amongst dentists to capture the attention of a new or prospective patient, but competition from all angles for every available discretionary dollar. The dollar a dentist is going after to offer Mary Sue a full-mouth rehab is the same dollar the local Mercedes dealer is hoping to get, the same dollar the theatre company is hoping to see, the same dollar Mary Sue is also thinking about spending on a post-divorce boot lift, too. It&#8217;s the same dollar Mary Sue might spend on a lavish, fun-filled week or month in Europe, touring the Italian countryside.</p>
<p>Who&#8217;s going to win the battle for Mary Sue&#8217;s dollar?</p>
<p>The guy/gal/company who&#8217;s positioned themselves as THE way for Mary Sue to invest her money for the biggest return. Yes, I&#8217;m talking about ROI, return-on-investment.</p>

<p>Question: <em>What did you do to leverage this holiday into as many new patients as possible, creating &#8220;buzzzz&#8221; in the community and making money all at the same time?</em></p>
<p>One of my private clients had his Free Standing Insert hit today. Two weeks ago, we invested quite a bit of time and energy into creating the results he talks about here in a moment.</p>
<p>We purposefully leveraged the day known for green beer (and green rivers), short people, and 4-leaf fantasies.</p>
<p>As of 1:50PM today, here&#8217;s his &#8220;from the front lines report:&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>Dear Jerry,</p>
<p>The insert hit today&#8230;and &#8220;the phone is ringing&#8221;. Confirmed Appointments are: 7 at one office and 8 at the other location. It&#8217;s 1:50 PM.</p></blockquote>
<p>My guess, by the time the dust settles, he&#8217;ll be waist deep in 30 or 35 new patients. The acquisition cost of each new patient, embarrassingly minimal. </p>
<p>Would 5, 10 or <strong>40</strong> new patients in a day take some of the pressure off? </p>
