Time Management ala Alex Mandossian
Not long ago, I listened in on a teleseminar, where Alex Mandossian was the special guest.
Couple of take-aways from Alex, a very prolific marketer and successful businessman:
1) set aside 50 minutes four times each week to THINK about your biz. It’ll help you make better decisions.
My thought…this is great; just remember to take ACTION right after THINKING.
2) use a countdown timer to track progress (my iPhone has one)
3) when traveling for business or pleasure, prohibit voice mails.
I use this one a lot and like it. My message is polite, but stern. I direct them to contact my office if it’s that life-threatening, which it never is for me.
More great time/life management and productivity tips coming soon. Love to hear your best strategies – comment on my blog, below.
[NOTE: I typed this blog post on Tuesday. Today, the day it actually posted, is Friday. I'm at the Oregon Coast with my oldest girl, at the Senator Mark O. Hatfield aquarium...I LOVE technology for these kinds of things! I like to hammer out a few blog posts all at once and deliver the content over a few days...When you're writing, it's easy to hammer out a few articles or posts at a time, vs starting and stopping. Same reason dentists that work straight six hours are more productive than a dentist that works a split 8-hour day.]
