2 Systems EVERY Business Should Have
The following is an excerpt from my latest book, The Business Anarchist’s Guide to Success: The ClearPath Strategy, which is still in writing stages. This is from the chapter titled, “The Business Anarchist’s Marketing System.”
I expect the book to be available sometime in the fall of 2009. Enjoy, and please do give me your feedback and thoughts.
There are two direct mail systems every single business should employ. If you don’t you’re either not serious about building your business or you’re lazy and could care less. There’s a third, but depending on how savvy you are at managing mailing lists of compiled data, the 3rd is slightly more advanced and requires some tracking – it’s the use of new mover lists. (There are response lists and compiled lists – I use both and for different purposes, but I won’t get into that here, but will touch on it in the Advanced Concepts in the back of the book.)
If yours is a business that thrives off repeat client visits (butcher, baker, dentist, CPA, attorney, etc.) and you are not sending a newsletter, you’re leaving at least 30% or more of your business on the table.
If you are not using postcards to generate leads, create sales or follow-up with prospects and clients, you’re also leaving huge sums of dough in the hands of prospects and clients that truthfully is better off being exchanged with you for goods or services.
