Carpe Diem – The Yacht
My dad recently called me from a little port town in Alaska named Hoonah. It’s a few hour boat ride out of Juneau – or of course, you can fly there, too.
Hoonah has the longest zip line in the world, going from atop a mountain down through the canopy of rain forest (yes, rain forest – they get a ton of rain in Southeast Alaska – I thought it rained a lot in Oregon!) and to the bottom. In fact, I’ll be video taping my descent on that bad boy very soon.
Meanwhile though, I had to share this website with you: The Carpe Diem Yacht is about 149′ long and is pretty damn amazing.
You can charter this amazing little boat for $150,000 per week.
